Ah, September, when the air (in this part of the world, anyway) is filled with the scents of harvest time, looseleaf, and new sneakers. Today is the first day of school for my kids, and as usual it's feeling like a time of renewal and fresh starts for me, too.
It's been a busy summer ~ even on the writing front, which doesn't usually happen for me. This summer, though, I've kept up with editing, submitting, critiquing, and even some new writing. So the onset of autumn is not really bringing with it a new committment to writing, but rather a chance to outline the projects and goals I have for the rest of the year, and possibly get on a more organized track.
Well, I haven't actually done it yet, but I'm thinking about it!
One item on my list will be more regular blogging, though. I do find it a great way to organize my thoughts and judge whether I'm keeping on track with things.
