So, it's been almost a month since I've 'blogged', which is not unusual considering my past history of journal-keeping. But maybe I'll do better in the new year. No, that's not a New Year's Resolution!

I *did* manage to write, edit and submit a story before the December 31st deadline for an anthology--and I didn't start writing it until December 10th. That's a personal best for me, as I usually let stories sit a lot longer than that before I go back to edit them. We'll see how it fares, but at least I feel good about getting it done.

So on to January. I have several stories that need editing and a new one I'd like to try to write, and the rewrite of my NaNo novel, which I'm kind of looking forward to...unless I start reading over it and find that it's total garbage.;-) Having a lot of neck pain which seems to have settled into the muscles there, so I'll be off to the doctor this week about that. It comes and goes but it's been pretty persistent the last week.

I'd like to de-clutter my office some this month but it's hard to know where to start since it isn't that big and I wouldn't know where to cut down. I need to do some serious thinking about that, I guess.

The Mars Exploration Rover Spirit is on Mars and sending back pictures, some of which can be viewed here. But when are we going to get there in person?
