Do you see that little button up in the top right-hand corner of this page, the one that says, "Next Blog?" Have you ever just started clicking that to see what random blog it would take you to? And then the next one, and the next one? It's a pastime I'd recommend for anytime you're feeling bored or at loose ends or just don't know what to do next. Or need a story idea. You have no idea what kind of totally weird stuff you're going to find out there in Blogger land...

i bet you have a secret desire to pull the emergency handle - £25 fine for improper use. if i thought i could get away with it, i would. just to see... ;o)

Ian, you'd be surprised at some of the fascinating things that turn up. Great fodder for writers... ;-)
